About us

To reeconcile the hunger for energy with the limits of our natural resources is one of the biggest challenges of our time. Maschinenwerk Misselhorn MWM GmbH is willing to rise to this challenge.

Maschinenwerk Misselhorn MWM GmbH has developed a new  tManagin Director Manfred Moullionhermodynamic process which allows to convert heat energy at low temperature levels (from 80°C) into electrical power in an economical way. Professional and expert opinion like the scientific publication from "Lehrstuhl fuer Energiesysteme" at Technical University Munich http://www.mdpi.com/1996-1073/9/5/337confirm the feasibiliy of the process as well as the achievable system effectiveness, which outperforms those of traditional ORC processes by appr. 50%. Measurements and recordings at an existing test facility show the adaptability of the process for industrial level usage, at temperature level of 85°C with a temperatue spread of 60K, and systems starting as low as 30KWel. The Misselhorn process has been granted several patents, e.g. "Assembly having a number of heat exchangers, and method for evaporating a working medium".

Maschinenwerk Misselhorn MWM GmbH has cooperated with several scientific institutions from universities as well as a number of specialised companies. The above mentioned "Lehrstuhl fuer Energiesysteme" continues to research on the topic. Having finished the described reasearch and development work, due to the lack of own personell resources, the company Maschinenwerk Misselhorn MWM GmbH is now concentrating on the application of the patents, aiming to build a prototype system together with an industrial partner.

Maschinenwerk Misselhorn MWM GmbH is the sole owner of the patents, which to achieve was its sole business purpose. Today, the sole sharehoder is Go4 Beteilgungen GmbH. As an alternative to a joint venture to build a prototype system, Go4 Beteilgungen GmbH would also be willing to sell its shares at Maschinenwerk Misselhorn MWM GmbH.
